Wines of the World

                                                 & Silent Auction
The Friends of Reynolds-Alberta Museum held their annual "Wines of the World" event on the evening of September 29, 2005.  A Silent Auction was added this year and since the Great Hall has been filled with motorcycles for our feature exhibition, "Life and Times of the Motorcycle", we moved our event into the Main Gallery!

Representatives from 19 different wine vendors presented over 85 different wines from around the world.

The 3 caterers featured foods from around the world.

Huckleberry's Cafe featured Pink Peppercorn Broiled Bison and  Roast Venison with Huckleberry Sauce.  Terracotta Cafe featured Garlic Cream Mussels and a Sushi platter while the Black Top Diner presented Mini Egg Rolls, Wontons in Shrimp Chips and Mini Cream Puffs with Chocolate Covered Strawberries!

Guests were educated by a wine expert about global wine regions.  They also sampled a variety of wines with the hors d’oeuvres to compliment each unique bouquet.
