If there is an offer to donate or sell an item to the Museum, it should be understood that the Reynolds-Alberta Museum has no budget for purchases - we do not buy any artifactsOnly the Curator can accept a donation and we only accept a small percentage of the artifacts that are offered to us.  This is primarily because we already have many items in our collection and we take into account the condition and historical significance of offers.  We also have to be very careful of the costs associated with storage and maintenance.  When we accept a donation we can provide the donor with an income tax receipt for the appraised value of the donation (we will have the appraisal done once the item is accepted and received).  Donors can use this receipt as a tax credit on their income tax and it is available upon request.  Please do not bring items for donation to the Museum unannounced because staff will not be able to accept them.  It is necessary to contact the Curator first.  Thank-you for your cooperation.

What is the manufacturers date and name of the item offered?

Was it used in Alberta or Western Canada?

Is it in running condition?

Are there any parts missing?
